Leah Hislop - Sculpture
Leah is an emerging artist whose work concentrates on site specific sculpture. She completed a BA in Fine Art in 2012 and she lives in Taunton. Her practice is influenced by ancient mythology and natureâs patterns. Over the last few years her work has focused on creating onsite large installations out of threads and paper that are reminiscent of spider webs, nervous systems and wave formations. She has recently completed âThe Golsoncott Residencyâ for emerging artists at Contains Art in Watchet and is now exploring ways of making her work permanent.
